Dr. Ousmène Jacques Mandeng is the Founder and Director of the College of Strategic Economics Advisory. He is currently affiliated with Accenture, a company providing services in the area of blockchain-based financial application implementations, especially in leading CBDC (Central Bank Digital Money) projects. He is an expert in economics, digital banking, financial technology and specializes in studying the impact of digital money on financial markets and the international monetary system. He has held senior positions in different financial sector institutions, including the International Monetary Fund. He is currently a member of the advisory board of the Bretton Woods Committee.
Dr. Mandeng will attend the Futurist of The Year 2024 Scientific Congress and give a lecture entitled “Digital Money: most money is digital, so what’s new about digital money?”, in which he will present an analysis of the adoption of tokens as a new money format and payment method in the new financial market infrastructure, covering the subject of classification of future money, new money and digital currencies.

Dr. Ousmène Jacques Mandeng is the Founder and Director of Economics Advisory. He is currently affiliated with Accenture, a company providing services in the area of the implementation of the blockchain-based financial applications, especially in leading CBDC (Central Bank Digital Money) projects. For more than 20 years, he held senior positions in the financial sector institutions, including the International Monetary Fund. He regularly commented in the financial press and presented at the international forums on the impact of digital currencies and the issues of the international monetary system. He is a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science and a member of the Bretton Woods Committee. He received his PhD in economics from the London School of Economics.
