Italy, Poland and Ukraine: A New Path for Europe – Conference in Rome with Participation of SGMK Representative

Domus Europa: Włochy, Polska i Ukraina: nowa droga dla Europy. Konferencja 10 lipca o 13:00 w Rzymie.

On Friday, July 10, the Press Room of the Italian Chamber of Deputies (Sala Stampa della Camera dei Deputati) will host the conference “Italia, Polonia e Ucraina: una nuova via per l’Europa” (“Italy, Poland and Ukraine: A New Path for Europe”), organized at the initiative of On. Federico Mollicone, President of the Culture Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. The event, prepared by Domus Europa – European Centre for Italy-Ukraine Cooperation, will present development and cultural diplomacy projects following the URC 2026 Conference in Gdańsk. The conference will begin at 1:00 PM.

Conference Programme

The meeting will open with institutional addresses, including contributions from On. Federico Mollicone, Sen. Marco Scurria (Secretary of the EU Policy Committee), S.E. Brusylo Ihor (Ambassador of Ukraine to Italy), S.E. Andrii Yurash (Ambassador of Ukraine to the Holy See), and, joining remotely, on. Prof. Przemysław Czarnek, Member of the Polish Sejm.

The second part of the conference will focus on medical research and industrial development projects connecting Italy and Ukraine, with contributions from Stefano Nicolussi Rossi (President of Renovua S.p.A and Domus Europa), Prof. MD Orest Chemerys (Rector of Lviv National Medical University), Prof. Dr. Alexander Gardetto, and Ing. Luca Adami (University of Trento).

The final panel, titled “Diplomazia Culturale: un cuore comune per l’Europa, una casa comune per l’Ucraina della Diaspora, un futuro da scrivere insieme” (“Cultural Diplomacy: A Shared Heart for Europe, a Shared Home for the Ukrainian Diaspora, a Future to Write Together”), will be moderated by Serena Tajé, Director General of Domus Europa.

The cultural diplomacy panel will include Prof. Fabrizio Giulimondi, Dean of the College of Legal Sciences of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School. Other panelists will include Tetyana Kuzyk (President of the association “Scuola ucraina prestigio a Roma”), joining remotely Anatoly Dziubenko (President of the Ukrainian association iHelp, responsible for the “Children in War” Commission of Domus Europa), and Piergiorgio Benvenuti (President of the Environmental Commission of Domus Europa).
