Meeting between the Dean of the College of Law and the Italian Ambassador to Poland

The Dean of the College of Law at Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, Prof. Fabrizio Giulimondi, met with the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Poland, His Excellency Luca Franchetti Pardo. The conversation focused on opportunities for developing academic and scientific cooperation between Polish and Italian universities, with particular emphasis on joint research initiatives and exchanges of students and academic staff.

Prof. Fabrizio Giulimondi is a distinguished Italian lawyer, a graduate of La Sapienza University in Rome, where he also obtained a doctorate in law from Gabriele D’Annunzio University. He specializes in European, constitutional, and administrative law. He is the author of over 150 scientific publications and an active participant in numerous research projects and international expert panels. As dean of the College of Legal Sciences, he implements modern educational programs, integrating academic knowledge with legal practice in the international arena.

His Excellency Luca Franchetti Pardo has been the Italian Ambassador to Poland since 2023. He is a diplomat with impressive experience – during his career, he has represented Italy in Cairo, Vienna, Tel Aviv, Brussels, and Washington, D.C., and has also served as ambassador to the EU Political and Security Committee and as director of security at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Franchetti Pardo graduated in political science from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and is fluent in several languages. He actively supports international educational projects, participates in cultural events, and promotes the values of Polish-Italian friendship and cooperation.

The talks during the meeting focused on the development of scientific projects, joint conferences, study visits, student exchanges, as well as the creation of grant and scholarship opportunities for young researchers. The importance of jointly promoting European values, bringing cultures closer together, and building close relations between Polish and Italian research institutions was also emphasized.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of openness, inspiration, and commitment to the further development of bilateral relations, which is an important step towards strengthening academic and scientific cooperation in legal sciences between Poland and Italy.
