New academic partnership between Poland and Kazakhstan – SGMK signs international agreement

The Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School has signed a cooperation agreement with L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, one of Kazakhstan’s leading universities. The Higher School of Vocational Education is also a partner in the initiative.

The agreement is an important step in the internationalization of our University. It opens up opportunities for joint research, teaching projects, student and academic staff exchanges, as well as the organization of conferences, seminars, and summer schools. The cooperation will focus on the exchange of experiences in the field of higher education development, innovative teaching methods, and the building of international research networks.

The signing of the agreement is the result of many months of talks and meetings between representatives of universities in Poland and Kazakhstan. The dialogue, conducted in a spirit of partnership and mutual trust, has resulted in concrete agreements and the identification of the first joint areas of action.

During his visit to Astana, the representative of Polish universities met with the ENU academic community, holding talks on the future of higher education and opportunities for closer cooperation between Europe and Central Asia. The event was accompanied by working meetings with university authorities and academic staff.

The new partnership strengthens SGMK’s international position and is part of its strategy to build strong relationships with academic centers outside the European Union. It is another step towards creating an open, modern, and internationally active academic community.
