New discreet AI smart glasses

Smart glasses have piqued the interest of technology enthusiasts for years, but previous attempts to bring them to market have often failed due to their lack of discretion or inconvenience. At CES 2025 trade show, Halliday, a California-based start-up, unveiled its innovative solution which could revolutionize the wearable device market.

Discreet design and advanced technology

Halliday glasses are distinguished by their minimalist design, resembling traditional frames. They weigh only 35 grams, ensuring comfort even when worn for long periods of time. The key element of the new product is the DigiWindow display module, located on the upper right side of the frame. This optical module, the world’s smallest and lightest of its kind, offers the wearer a 3.5-inch diagonal image, visible even in bright sunlight, without rainbow effects or light leakage.

The Halliday glasses are equipped with an advanced AI assistant that analyzes the user’s conversations and provides needed information in real time. For example, when discussing the band The Beatles, the glasses can display the release date of their first album. The assistant can also translate conversations into more than 40 languages, navigate the user, transcribe voice notes and display song lyrics synchronized with the music being played.

Intuitive controls and long operating time

User controls the glasses’ functions via special touch panel ring worn on the finger. It allows discreet management of displayed content, such as notes or notifications. The glasses offer up to 12 hours of operation on a single charge, making them a practical tool for all day use.

The Halliday glasses are available for pre-order at a price of $399. They are scheduled to ship at the end of the first quarter of 2025. With the ability to fit corrective lenses, the device can be used as a technological tool as well as traditional corrective glasses.
