A special issue of the scientific journal Law Education Security has been published, entitled “The European Union in the 21st Century: Economic, Legal, and Social Challenges” (Volume 1, Issue I/2025).
The volume is devoted to analyzing the most important challenges facing the European Union in an era of dynamic geopolitical, social, and technological change. The authors—representatives of the scientific community from Poland and Europe—address topics such as the labor market, administrative law, digital transformation, social policy, and the relationship between religion and society in the context of European integration.
The issue opens with an article by the editor-in-chief of the journal, Prof. Gertruda Uścińska, Rector of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, reflecting on the future of European integration in the context of global trends and growing expectations towards the European community – New European Union regulations concerning work via digital platforms – Directive (EU) 2024/2831.
