Open seminar “Principles of administrative consular proceedings”

On April 8, Dr. Rafał Stasikowski, assistant professor at SGMK, delivered an open seminar “Principles of Administrative Consular Proceedings”, organized by the College of Legal Sciences of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School. 

The seminar discussed basic principles of administrative proceedings conducted by the consul on the basis of the Act of June 25, 2015 on Consular Law. 

Dr. Stasikowski presented the results of research conducted within the framework of an international research project “Polish consular procedure in comparison with other administrative proceedings” funded by a grant from the Central European Academy. 

 
Rafał Stasikowski  is an assistant professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School in Warsaw. He holds a PhD in Legal Sciences. He is a Judge of the Supreme Administrative Court – General Administrative Chamber, expert of the Parliamentary Analyses Office and various bodies of local self-government units, judge of common courts, President of the District Court in Katowice, as well as member of numerous commissions of the Ministry of Justice for the conduct of examinations of legal professions and entrance examinations for the legal training. Dr. Stasikowski has authored 4 monographs and nearly 40 other scientific publications. He lectures at the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution and other public universities.
