Polish company in Artificial Intelligence Deployable Agent project

The Artificial Intelligence Deployable Agent (AIDA) project, funded by the European Defense Fund, is set to launch at the end of the year. WB Electronics Group S.A. is the only Polish company included in the international consortium implementing the project.

The goal of AIDA is to develop possible scenarios and safeguards that would prevent cyberattacks on artificial intelligence-based solutions. WB GROUP has the most experience in developing military AI systems in Poland.

The application of artificial intelligence in cyber-defense covers the land, air, sea, space and cyber domains. WB GROUP’s lead company will be responsible for the defense component in the land domain. The Polish entity is to develop operational scenarios based on the cooperation of the situational awareness system with military manned, unmanned, mobile and fixed platforms.

The AIDA project is expected to formally begin in late 2024. The project has been budgeted for three and a half years of work, which will be shared by twenty-four companies and research institutions from fourteen European countries.

In the long term, the results of the Artificial Intelligence Deployable Agent project can be used to strengthen the defense capabilities of computer networks in European Union countries. Solutions proven in the terrestrial domain will also enhance security outside the military domain, primarily in the protection of critical infrastructure.
