On February 28, a debate on the reform of the Italian justice system and constitutional changes will be held in Monterotondo (Rome), with the participation of Fabrizio Giulimondi, Dean of the College of Legal Sciences at the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School.
The event, organized by the “Si Riforma” Committee, will be a space for discussion on the direction of political changes in Italy, including the reform of the system of constitutional responsibility and the functioning of the judiciary. The debate will be attended by representatives of the legal community, parliament, and public administration.
Expert co-creating the reform
Prof. Fabrizio Giulimondi is an Italian lawyer and scholar, a graduate of Sapienza Università di Roma, where he completed his law studies, and a doctor of law at Università degli Studi “Gabriele d’Annunzio” di Chieti-Pescara. He specializes in constitutional and administrative law, and his achievements include over 150 scientific publications.
Professor Giulimondi played an important expert role in the work on constitutional changes that are currently being implemented in Italy. His analyses and legal opinions were an important point of reference in the debate on the shape of the reform, particularly in terms of the balance of powers and the accountability of state bodies.

Honored for the development of Polish-Italian cooperation
The professor’s international activity and his commitment to the development of legal dialogue between countries are also recognized in Poland. On January 22, 2026, a ceremony was held at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw to award Prof. Fabrizio Giulimondi the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. The award was granted for outstanding contributions to the development of Polish-Italian scientific and institutional cooperation.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, the order was presented by the Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Zbigniew Bogucki. The ceremony was attended by, among others, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic, Luca Franchetti Pardo, the Undersecretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Agnieszka Jędrzak, and representatives of the SGMK authorities, led by Rector Prof. Gertruda Uścińska.
The award is a token of appreciation for Professor Giulimondi’s many years of work in building bridges between the academic communities of Poland and Italy and his contribution to the development of research and teaching in the field of legal sciences.
