On May 12-18, 2025, SGMK College of Legal Sciences hosted Prof. Simona Terracciano from Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Caserta.
Prof. Terracciano graduated in law from the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali in Rome, specializing in administrative law. She received her doctorate in public law from the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata.

Prof. Terracciano’s research interests focus on substantive and procedural administrative law, particularly in the areas of sanctioning powers of public administration, public procurement, local public services, administrative procedural law and the precautionary principle.
Prof. Terracciano’s visit took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, as part of which she conducted a series of classes in English for SGMK students and staff. Topics of the classes included: Administrative regulation of private and public enterprise in the Italian legal order, History of Italian Administrative Law and contemporary transformations, and Public authorities and governance in the management of emergencies and in the post-catastrophe reconstruction phase.
Meetings and lectures with Prof. Terracciano provided a valuable opportunity to exchange academic experiences and deepen knowledge of administrative law in a comparative perspective.
