SGKM is a content partner of the 8th Socio-Economic Forum 2025

The 8th edition of the Socio-Economic Forum will be held on June 12, 2025. This year, it will focus on two key areas of digital transformation: the digitization of public and social life and the use of artificial intelligence in local government administration. The Forum will include a nationwide scientific conference entitled “AI Local Government. Legal Conditions for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Local Government Administration,” organized by the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School. 

In an era of dynamic development of digital technologies, the forum will provide a space for the exchange of experiences, opinions, and proposals regarding the use of new digital tools in the public, private, and social sectors. It will be attended by representatives of government and local government administration, academia, the IT sector, and non-governmental organizations. The Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School is a content partner of the event. 

During the 8th Socio-Economic Forum 2025, expert debates will be held with participants from public administration, NGO’s and the private sector. The latest technological trends and best practices will be presented. Panel discussions will focus on topics such as public e-services, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital education, and combating digital exclusion. 

The 8th Socio-Economic Forum 2025, “Digitization of Public and Social Life,” will focus on the most important aspects of digital reality. The key discussion panels will focus on, among other things: 

Digitization of public and social life 

A panel dedicated to the digitization of public services, automation of administrative processes, interoperability of systems, and the role of data in decision-making. Experts will discuss how to effectively and safely implement e-services on a national and local scale. 

Digital, economic, and social security 

A discussion on the balance between accessibility and privacy protection. Panelists will address topics related to cybersecurity, citizens’ trust in digital tools, and personal data protection standards. 

Digital society – competencies, inclusion, responsibility 

The panel will focus on issues of digital education, combating digital exclusion, and building an aware, responsible society in the age of technology. Issues of digital ethics will also be discussed. 

As part of the nationwide scientific conference “AI Local Government: Legal Conditions for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Local Government Administration,” organized by SGMK, the introductory presentations will focus on artificial intelligence in public administration at the local and regional levels. Experts will consider the role of AI in the public and private sectors, the impact of automation on the labor market, and the need to create a regulatory framework for the development of these technologies. 

The technology panel AI Revolution: New Tools in the Hands of Local Governments will discuss the latest AI-based solutions available to local government units. Experts will present examples of implementations, discuss legal and organizational challenges, and potential development scenarios. 

The 8th Socio-Economic Forum 2025 is an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish cross-sector cooperation, present innovative solutions, and jointly develop recommendations for the digital development of Poland. 

The event is organized by the Polish Foundation Development Pillars (PFFR). The project is co-financed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education as part of the “Excellent Science II” program.

The 8th Socio-Economic Forum 2025 will be held as part of the 2025 Polish Presidency of the EU Council under the honorary patronage of the Minister for European Union Affairs and the Mayor of Łomża.
