On January 20, 2026, the authorities of the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School in Warsaw met with a representative of the United States Armed Forces, Colonel John Nimmons, commander of a battalion combat group stationed in Bemowo Piskie (Biała Piska municipality).
The meeting was of a working nature and concerned, among other things, the possibility of cooperation with local stakeholders and the submission of a scientific and educational offer from the Copernicus University addressed to NATO soldiers stationed in Poland.
The talks were attended by representatives of the Copernicus University authorities and representatives of the local government.

The Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School is a public university founded in 2023 on the 550th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus, the most outstanding Polish scientist. SGMK conducts scientific, research, and teaching activities, adapting teaching to the challenges of the future and current market needs, integrating knowledge from various scientific disciplines, and establishing cooperation with the best scientists and specialists from Poland and around the world.
