On June 10, 2025, Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, Prof. Gertruda Uścińska, signed a cooperation agreement with the Italian association Associazione ISNET.
The aim of the cooperation is to carry out joint scientific and educational activities as part of the project “Suicidology – state of knowledge analysis and educational campaign.” The partnership includes, among other things, the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of mental health of children and adolescents, joint analyses of mental health support systems, and the organization of workshops, training courses, and conferences to promote knowledge about suicide prevention. The agreement also provides for the co-authorship of publications and reports, the development of educational materials, and the planning of joint grant projects.
At the same time, the agreement paves the way for cooperation in the field of accessibility of educational services and support for people with disabilities as part of the “Accessible Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School” project, co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development under the FERS 3.1 program.
Joint activities will focus on expert consulting, organizing training and workshops for university staff, and implementing solutions to increase the architectural and technological accessibility of the university.
The cooperation with Associazione ISNET is an important step towards the development of SGMK’s international initiatives for mental health and education accessibility.
