The Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School has become a content partner of the 6th Three Seas Congress, which will take place on May 27–28, 2026, in Lublin. Organized by the Lublin Province Local Government, the event has for years been one of the most important international forums for economic, scientific, and local government cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe.
This year’s edition of the Congress will be attended by representatives of government and local administration, the scientific community, and the business sector from the 13 member states of the Three Seas Initiative: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Greece. The event will also be attended by strategic partners, including the European Commission, the United States of America, Germany, Japan, Spain, and Turkey, as well as associate partners from Ukraine, Moldova, Albania, and Montenegro.
The Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School’s involvement in the Three Seas Initiative Congress is part of the school’s efforts to develop international cooperation and strengthen relations between the academic community, public administration, and the business sector. The university actively supports initiatives aimed at building networks of scientific and expert cooperation in the Central and Eastern European region.
A practical outcome of the Three Seas Congress is the growing cooperation among local governments operating within the Network of Regions, which currently includes 28 local governments from 8 countries. The Three Seas Universities Network is also developing dynamically, creating a space for deepening scientific and academic cooperation.
