SGMK is a partner of the conference “Disability – a task or a challenge in today’s world?”

On November 24, 2025, the 5th Jubilee National Scientific Conference entitled “Disability – a task or a challenge in the modern world?” was held in the Schuman Hall of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. The event was partnered by the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School.

The conference brought together specialists and scientists from various fields, including educators, psychologists, sociologists, lawyers, and practitioners involved in supporting people with disabilities. During the proceedings, key topics were discussed, such as inclusive education, legislative changes concerning the rights of persons with disabilities, psychological support, the role of new technologies in overcoming barriers, and building a society that is supportive and empathetic towards persons with disabilities. The event was hybrid in nature, which allowed for broad access to an interdisciplinary discussion on the multifaceted issue of disability.

An important element of the conference was inter-university cooperation, which allowed for the exchange of knowledge and experience, influencing the development of social and educational policy.

During the discussion, it was emphasized that disability is a challenge that requires the joint commitment of scientific circles, educational institutions, and social institutions. The event created a space for reflection and practical actions for the integration and full participation of people with disabilities in social, educational, and professional life.
