Prof. Gertruda Uścińska, Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, took part in the prestigious “Put AI to Work” conference, organized by IBM Poland in cooperation with the Polish Information Processing Society. The event, considered to be one of the most important meetings of the high-tech industry in 2025, brought together experts, opinion leaders and representatives of science and business, focusing on the practical use of generative artificial intelligence.
Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss effective business transformation and value creation with the use of responsible AI solutions.
Special attention was paid to four strategic areas of the artificial intelligence development:
- Enterprise Efficiency – integrating agentic AI and generative AI into business processes to increase scalability and productivity.
- Data Fabric – unifying structured and unstructured data through AI to foster accurate data-driven decision-making.
- Technology Optimization – managing complex digital environments and operational efficiency in multi-cloud systems.
- Process transformation – transforming key business functions (HR, finance, customer service) through AI for improved quality and efficiency.
The SGMK Rector actively participated in discussions on the role of science in shaping secure, open and competitive AI solutions, as well as cooperation between academia and the technology sector. Her presence at the conference is an expression of SGMK’s commitment to the development of modern technologies and the creation of space for dialogue between business and science.
The conference sessions are divided into three thematic tracks: AI productivity with Agentic AI and Data platform, Optimize technology for and with AI, and AI Value Creation.
