The Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School has signed a cooperation agreement with the Foundation of the Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Lublin. Its aim is to establish a partnership supporting the education process and the development of social and professional skills of students, graduates, and academic staff. On behalf of SGMK, the agreement was signed by SGMK Chancellor Wojciech Kondrat.
The cooperation will enable the implementation of joint research, development, and social projects, as well as activities aimed at transferring knowledge to the social and economic environment.
The agreement also provides for the promotion of social innovation, the organization of educational, scientific, and cultural events, and the creation of programs that respond to current social challenges. SGMK will be able, among other things, to better adapt educational content to the needs of NGOs, support the organization of internships, traineeships, and social projects for students, and provide research and scientific infrastructure for the implementation of joint initiatives.
The cooperation will be based on the intellectual, technological, and organizational resources of both institutions, taking into account the needs of contemporary education and science.
Both the university and the Foundation undertake to act with the utmost care, striving to create the best possible conditions for the achievement of common goals.
The agreement is an important step in the development of relations between the academic community and the non-governmental sector, promoting the building of civil society and supporting social activity.
