Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School in Warsaw has become a partner of a conference focused on disability issues, which will take place on November 24, 2025, in the Schuman Hall of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW).
The event is organized by the Accessibility Center (formerly the Office for Persons with Disabilities) and the Faculty of Education at UKSW.
The conference serves as an important platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and best practices in broadly understood support for people with disabilities—in education, social life, professional environments, and family settings. Each year, it gathers representatives from academic communities, practitioners, special educators, therapists, sociologists, lawyers, psychologists, and students, becoming a forum for interdisciplinary dialogue.
During this year’s sessions, participants will discuss, among other topics:
- New approaches to inclusive education,
- Legislative changes concerning the rights of people with disabilities,
- Forms of psychological and institutional support,
- The role of modern technologies in breaking down barriers and building a society based on solidarity and empathy.
Submission deadlines:
- Active participation (presentations): by October 17, 2025
- Passive participation: by October 31, 2025
Participation in the conference is free of charge. The event will be held in a hybrid format—at the UKSW campus and online via live stream on the university’s YouTube channel (without the option to present).
