On June 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., a suicide prevention workshop organized by the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School in Warsaw was held at Primary School No. 9 in Łomża. The event was commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of a project “Suicidology – state of knowledge analysis and educational campaign”.
The workshop, entitled “Mental health crisis among young people: How we can reverse the worrying trends together” lasted about two hours. It was led by two experts in the field of suicidology: Sylwia Majewska – psychologist, psychometrist, and coach (PCC), suicidology expert at the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School, president of the Psychological Center in Szczecin and Eliza Masny – psychologist, coach (MCC) and psychometrist, suicidology expert at the Nicolaus Copernicus Superior School.
The event was attended by teachers, parents, and people working in support institutions.
The aim of the workshop was to draw attention to the scale of mental health problems among young people and to discuss ways of preventing and mitigating their effects. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of openness and constructive involvement, and the topics discussed met with great interest from the participants.
