On October 23, members of the SGMK Stakeholder Council took part in a training session entitled “Crisis management – from risk to resilience in turbulent times,” led by experts from the Graś i Wspólnicy Law Firm.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed: the process of risk identification and assessment in public and private organizations, the development of business continuity plans, the importance of leadership and communication during a crisis, and the role of information management and data protection in emergency situations.
The experts also presented the latest legal and regulatory practices in risk management, with particular emphasis on the responsibilities of institutions and stakeholders.
Participants learned about the legal and procedural basis for responding to crisis situations, as well as the latest organizational and technological solutions supporting the resilience of institutions and companies. They also had the opportunity to analyze examples of crisis response measures from recent years, covering both the business sphere and public administration.
The training was an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss how institutions can effectively prepare for emergencies, minimize their impact, and increase organizational resilience. It was also pointed out that crisis management is not limited to responding to events, but includes proactive measures that allow for the anticipation of potential threats and the mitigation of risks in everyday operations.
